Phoenix Fireplace World LTD
Phoenix Fireplace World was founded about 1985 as Phoenix Gas, selling gas fires and fireplaces out of what was then a small shop in New Road Kidderminster. It is still owned by the founding family.
Over the years, as adjoining premises became available, the business expanded to fill them and now it occupies an area of 380 square metres and accommodates over 70 fireplace displays. Electric fires have benefited from advances in LED and microprocessor technology to become an ever-more important part of our business. Similarly wood and multi-fuel burning stoves have been developed to low emission levels and we offer a sales and installation service for them.

We take pride in our customer care. We will always greet visitors to our showroom but after that will help them if required or leave them in peace to look around. Nobody is on commission and there is no pressure on anyone to buy. Customers are welcome to take as many visits and as much time as they like deciding what to buy. Our manager, a qualified gas engineer, will only agree to a sale when convinced that it is appropriate to the customer’s requirements and to the premises it is intended for. This may well require a survey visit.
Our installations are carried out by gas-safe or HETAS qualified engineers who are also proficient in brickwork and plastering so that when they leave the site all that remains to be done is final decoration.
